Thought leaders from around the world come to Sydney for Australia’s premier design event – 2014 Design As Strategy Forum
This year’s DESIGN AS STRATEGY FORUM will look into how enterprising leaders from business, government and the creative service sectors position their organisations to thrive – in a time where others struggle to survive.
Good Design Australia in partnership with the annual VIVID Festival will again host this two-day design event on the top floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) in Sydney on Thursday 29 May and Friday 30 May, 2014.
DAY ONE 29 MAY: Will focus on how award winning designers based in the US, France, South Africa, New Zealand, South Korea, India and of course, Australia have transformed unmet market needs into commercially viable products and services. Speakers will share their success stories from companies including Orange (Europe), Fisher&Paykel (NZ), Blackmagic Design (AUS), Designworks (NZ) and Cape Town Design (South Africa).
DAY TWO 30 MAY: Will provide an opportunity to meet corporate executives who have learned to leverage design as a strategic tool to reframe the way they do business and foster future growth. Innovators from top-end-of-town include companies such as Hills Limited, BT Financial, Alchemy Growth Partners and Deloitte will share center stage with SME CEO’s from mining, automotive, agricultural, architectural and manufacturing sectors.
